My daughter's UFM teacher engages her students in the learning process. She brings topics to life which fosters an eagerness in her students to learn. My child has always struggled in ELA. This year, she is blossoming! She has grown to love ELA and the confidence that has developed in her through it has been wonderful. Mrs. C is authentic, genuine, and truly cares for her students.... and they sense that.

I believe that my UFM teacher takes time to get to know her students and teaches them to the best of her ability. She creates fun games, and informational lessons, and respects her students, as they respect her. She always has a bright attitude and stays on top of her responsibilities. She is understanding, patient, and kind and develops an amazing and fun atmosphere.

I enjoy all that we do in Mrs. C's classes! However, if I were to pick one thing that I enjoy most is that we are always challenged and pushed to do our best. She wants us to thrive and accept that even if we don't think we can do something, we are more capable than we think! I love that no matter what mood Mrs. C is in, she always makes us feel welcome in her classroom. She always creates new learning material and introduces helpful ways for her students to get the most out of their learning experience. Her class makes me feel at peace!

What I like most about our classroom culture is the breath I let out when I enter, knowing there is a good chance I will get a small laugh and always will be greeted with a smile. We work hard, but also have fun with it, and I don't have to worry about feeling lectured to.

My children have grown academically and socially under Mrs. C's instruction. From what I've observed, there is a precise balance between working hard on writing conventions, digging deep into novel studies, and everything in between. She also values their opinions and listens to her students. There are positive interactions that occur in her classroom and respect is modeled and upheld. Middle school is a hard age, where fitting in and feeling accepted can be a struggle. My two children have been blessed to have Mrs. C teach, encourage, and care for them.

UFM tutors have a Christian worldview, and tie in God into almost every lesson. My UFM tutor has an equivalent amount of strictness and fun when it comes to learning, and she is eager to teach and help students learn. The way that Mrs. C integrates a fun but educational atmosphere into the classroom whenever you enter it just makes it all the more enjoyable. She provides a safe workspace for any student, regardless of grade or ability.

My children have grown academically, socially, and spiritually in Mrs. C's class. I have seen my children’s vocabulary, writing style, and reading scores improve under her direction. Her solid Christian values have helped my children grow socially in her class. Her enthusiasm, commitment, and godly character show in her classroom. She provides a fun, safe, positive environment for her students to learn and grow.
